Jiangsu Da Yangshan National Forest Park is located in the west of the ancient city of Suzhou, with the boundless Taihu Lake to its west and Suzhou downtown area to its east for 16 kilometers. The Park covers an area of 1029.8 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of 88.64%. Da Yangshan Mountain stretches for more than twenty li, and was called "Weight of Wu County” Mountain by the ancients. Its main peak—Arrow-made Gap Peak with an altitude of 338.2 meters high, is the second highest peak in Suzhou. The Mountain with its continuous ranges is just like a natural barrier, guarding the ever Wu capital.

With Manjushri Temple and Botanical Garden scenic areas respectively located in the east and south, the Park is an urban forest theme resort that integrates ecological tourism, recreation, holiday spending, and ecological science popularization education, and also is a perfect place to be close to natural landscapes and experience the rustic charm of nature.
